Undergraduate
For students completing secondary school, or holding a certificate or diploma.
Bachelor's degrees across every major field. Where results do not yet meet direct entry,
a foundation or international year one gives you a legitimate route onto the same degree —
we will tell you honestly which of the two applies to you.
- Direct entry, foundation and international year one
- Typically three to four years
- KCSE, IB, A-Level and diploma entry routes
Postgraduate & Master's
For graduates with a bachelor's degree, with or without work experience.
Taught master's programmes — MSc, MA, MBA, LLM and more. The most common route our
students take, and the one where the choice of university and specialism has the
greatest effect on what happens after graduation.
- One to two years, taught or with a dissertation
- Pre-master's routes where the degree classification falls short
- Professional master's with placement or industry projects
MRes & research master's
For graduates intending to move into research or doctoral study.
A research-weighted master's built around a supervised project rather than taught modules.
Often the strongest bridge into a PhD, and frequently better funded than a taught master's.
- Research proposal and supervisor matching support
- A recognised step towards doctoral study
- Funded and part-funded routes where they exist
PhD & doctoral pathways
For master's graduates with a defined research interest.
Doctoral admission runs on a different logic to every other level: the supervisor and the
proposal decide it, not the application portal. We help you identify departments doing work
close to yours and approach them properly. Availability varies by destination and department.
- Proposal development and supervisor approach
- Studentship and scholarship identification
- Three to four years, subject to the institution
Top-up degrees
For holders of a recognised diploma or higher diploma.
A top-up converts existing diploma study into a full bachelor's degree, usually in a single
final year. For many Kenyan diploma holders it is the fastest and most affordable route to a
recognised international degree — and it is regularly overlooked.
- Often one year to a full bachelor's award
- Credit assessment of your existing diploma
- Progresses directly into master's study afterwards
Professional & specialist
For students targeting a regulated profession or a specific technical field.
Nursing and allied health, aviation, hospitality, accountancy and other fields where
registration, licensing or accreditation matters as much as the degree itself. We check
the professional recognition before you apply, not after you graduate.
- Accreditation and professional recognition checked first
- Placement and licensing requirements explained upfront
- Post-study work implications made clear
